PGL Major: Qualified for Campion stage

Heroic’s Counter-Strike team has qualified for the Champions Stage of the PGL Major Championship after beating Vitality (world rank: #3), Astralis (#8) and Copenhagen Flames (#10).

The PGL Major Championship is the most prestigious Counter-Strike tournament of the year and the prize pool of USD 2,000,000 is the largest in Counter-Strike’s history. By reaching the quarterfinals, Heroic is guaranteed to win minimum USD 70,000. The winner will take home USD 1,000,000.

In addition to the prize money, participating teams receive a share of the revenues from the sales of in-game items throughout the tournament, making the Major a significant revenue source for Heroic.

The Champions Stage will be played at Avicii Arena in front of an audience of more than 15 000 fans and will be the first event with a live audience in over two years. Quarterfinals are played Thursday 4th and Friday 5th of November, semifinals on Saturday 6th of November and the champion will be crowned on Sunday 7th of November.
